Honduras overview

The country of Honduras has a struggling economy and is one of the most violent countries in the world. Honduras is the second biggest country in central America but still has the lowest GDP per capita. Although Honduras isn't the brightest country, the many beautiful geographical features make up for cons of the country such as the Swan islands and the ancient Copan Ruins. Honduras has an extreme mountainous nature and steep slopes take up about 80% of the land.
